The Brackbill family held official and unofficial Brackbill Reunions annually. The earliest attested unofficial reunion occurred August 12, 1939 at Brackbill's Meadow on the farm. Later official reunions were held in a variety of locations. In modern times, there are a variety of "reunion" events, including two summer picnics (Father's Day and on or near the birthday of Harry G. Brackbill) at the Meadow.
Records of Brackbill Reunions[]
Records from the Brackbill reunion were frequently recorded by an official "secretary" of the reunion. Some were collected in the Secretary's Book, which documented reunions from 1947 to 1966; minutes from other reunions were published as typescript documents.
