Brackbill Wiki

Finally I got up at a fairly proper time. Then Mother was late and I was late for work. John had the mill running when I got there.

We shut down in the forenoon and fixed the waterwheel again. It was quite cold and everything was icy.

We were plenty busy and worked later than quitting time as usual.

After supper I resigned myself to domestic life another time. We played Chinese Checkers. Val came and he beat me in Checkers 4 to 3. I phoned Jane and made arrangements for tomorrow night.
